While looking at your beautiful watercolors I read the story of your collie and it made me think of our beloved pet and her last great adventure. About 4 months ago we had an air conditioner repairman leave our gate open and Star wandered through it and just kept walking. This from a dog who slept all day and never caused a moment of trouble. Most of the time as she aged we would have to wake her to move in to her nighttime dog bed. She got farther then we would think she could have on this adventure but, luck for us a kind lady found her and saved her from danger for us. It was a terrifying few hours of frantic searching until we were reunited. Thinking of that now makes me smile knowing she enjoyed one last great exploration.

Gail Jamesnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1015450081478430751.post-73977673004252348542011-02-14T08:09:59.393-08:002011-02-14T08:09:59.393-08:00I am testing to see if I can post a comment.I am testing to see if I can post a comment.Gail Speckmannnoreply@blogger.com
